DB Primary - The Learning Platform designed for Primary Schools

DB Primary is a Learning Platform designed specifically for Primary Schools. It is very user-friendly and may be used by children as young as reception age. There are three themes within the interface of DB Primary. These are Starter, Starter + and Improver that enable primary pupils of all ages to access the Platform at an appropriate level.

The Angelsoft initial support service focuses on setting up users at appropriate levels.

The Features and the Benefits

Pupils can e-mail, voice mail and video mail each other within a safe environment. Teachers can set and mark homework. Users can also create quizzes, surveys and engage with each other within forums. Pupils can blog and create e-portfolios of their work. Schools can also set up communities that can involve pupils, teachers, parents and governors.

Schools using DB Primary will naturally extend pupil learning opportunities. This will have a substantial impact on the teaching and learning process. Pupils will also gain a greater appreciation of e-safety issues by using the platform. These are major factors within the ICT Mark Self Review Framework (SRF).
